Ann and her family moved to Beaufort South Carolina from the San Francisco Bay Area. As a ‘southern enthusiast’ she has a passion for the people and products that inspire her love of the south, its culture, and traditions.

After years of traveling the southern states, Ann was struck by the absence of a retail experience that celebrated the vibrant Southern Lifestyle. Thus, Scout Southern Market was born.

 

Creating welcoming environments is a passion Ann exhibits in both her shop and clients’ homes. Ann feels fortunate to be involved in the community.

 

She was a founding member of The Downtown Beaufort Merchant’s Association, and previously served on the Board of Historic Beaufort Foundation.
